I must admit, the last thing on my mind five months ago was signing up for a training program! After some nudging from my daughter, I decided to give Jim's Muffins to Marathons a try. My intent was not to run (or even walk) in any races but to lose about 20 pounds, to get fit and to focus on my health. My biggest concern was whether this program was suitable for someone my age - a senior citizen. Well, I found myself doing a myriad of cardio and strength exercises that I didn't know existed!
